hols are ending and so am i...

last weekend wasnt very well spent... well actually i spent a lot of time sleeping and trying to recover from like sudden bouts of fever plus my sorethroat that actually got worst:S and sunday night and mon was spent on finishing my econs essay which i actually managed to finish on time (yay!)... not tt my teacher will collect on mon but anyways its still an achievement... and oh yeah pw... thks a lot to sand who really put in a lot of effort into the report, thks so much!

and tues... yeah spent a lot of time zzzing... like most of the day... only did some work of wedn... SOME... only did a few pathetic qns on apgp... sighz... and thurs was pretty much wasted.... yay so chem test next week and i've barely started... sighz...

ok... so i did the gp 1100 words thingy till week 8... and i haven touched my math and chem... and gp compre test tmr... and i haven finish the aq which was long overdue... life.

ice-climbing today... fun but tiring... but it really reminds me that i shd contorl my eating and start moving (and studying) didnt manged to climb to the top... too unfit i guess... since... but i still prefer rock climbing... more fun i think... ice-climbing on an artificail wall at least, can get kinda boring since u are just doing the same thing over and over and over and over again... i mean u can improve ur teachnique and stuff... but its repeating the same move going up... unlike rock climbing where u have to find a way up, since the handholds, footholds and even gradient of the surface u are climbing on varies as u climb... of cos both of which i'm comparing are artificial sufaces... not the actual ones...

yeah... been reading up a puny bit for the research hw for h3 chem... maybe i'll post some useful stuff on my other blog later... so maybe u'll want to take a look... provided u know the location of cos:D

sometime i wonder wat i've done to myself. on one hand, things are really great, on the other, things are dying... and yet on another face, i'm aint really performing as badly as expected, in fact the performance was still on par considering my previous standings in sch...

ibn's really damn fun i tell ya... if u even want to try ur hand at research work, go ibn yups:D haha yest my mentor treated me to a drink... ;) how nice of him... haha:D

oh the other hand, stuff like pw and cca is just plain dying... and of cos... my maths is jus like... dead.

and the in btws would be like the rest of my subs... and h3 chem... :S i gotta make sure i pass my maths in promos otherwise i'll be forced to drop smthing... :S and now i'm getting worried... cos h3 chem is really late in the wk and in the day... last wk i napped during the lect, which is certainly not a gd sign... haix... arghs, how???????

anyway, gp is getting to be pretty gd... wished our teacher was here to teach us before the hols as well... :S anyway, can tell that she certainly has read a lot... she even knows some egs from science that the average person would most likely not know of... ok maybe it might have came out in the papers before... but provided u have been faithfully reading every single word in the papers daily... yeah... was reading the two bks she lent our class just now... finished the bk called a brave new world already... a very short book lah... quite interesting, sci fic, but i prefer the other bk... since its my fav type... sci non-fic but in the form of stories...:D my fav bedtime storybks!!! only read until like pg 70+ but its really interesting... and somehow the author suddenly goes abt to talk abt evolution and deep time etc... i.e. those stuff we have been learning in bio:D haha... a plague of frogs, so the bk is called... i would strongly recommend ya to read it... useful in gp and bio... plus its a really interesting read lah... yup:D

wasted by weekend away... basically did nothing productive save for reading my econs notes.... but i found out that i'm still quite lost anyway, mainly because i hadnt been paying much attention in lects since the previous topic so i hafta go read up on the previous topic b4 i haf any hope of understanding fully the current lect notes...

anyway, bio prac today waas pretty alright... erm ya... gp was fine... the essay topics were mostly on sci although some of them are like religon and arts in it... but i didnt chose those so there... haha chose the one with the evolution thingy... cos we jus had bio lect on evolution like 5 mins ago... was pretty gd lah... the more i wrote the more points i had to write... lol if only the common test was like dat... but then again, this is counted in promos whereas the common test is not.... strange huh? heh... hope i didnt write out of point though... cos the more i wrote, i started to ignore one part of the qn completely... haix:S

kinda screwed up today... getting lost in econs cos i haven been reading my lect notes... haven dont a single chem or any hw either.... its like i'm so tired i just fall asleep the moment i get home each day... sux...
then was chem prac.... didnt have time to finish writing the stuff down at all, plus i forgot the write the color change at end point AGAIN!!! DARN ME!
how the heck am i gonna pass my actual a lvl spa in wk 6 i have absolutly no idea...
and chem h3... it was interesting really, but i was just too tired tt i couldnt help it but fall asleep during part of the lect... i really gotta read my lect note multiple times and probly buy that bk by patrick otherwise i aint gonna survive h3 chem either...

England v Brazil:

It is just before the England v Brazil match. Ronaldinho goes into theBrazilian changing room to find all his teammates looking a bit glum.

"What's up?" he asks.

"Well, we're having trouble getting motivated for this game. We know it's important but it's only England. They're sh*te and we can't be bothered."

Ronaldinho looks at them and says, "Well, I reckon I can beat them by myself. You lads go down the pub."

So Ronaldinho goes out to play England by himself and the rest of the Brazilian team go off for a few jars.

After a few pints they wonder how the game is going, so they get the landlord to put the teletext on. A big cheer goes up as the screen reads " Brazil 1 - England 0 (Ronaldinho 10 minutes)". He is beating England all by himself!

Anyway, a few pints later and the game is forgotten until someone remembers, "It must be full time now, let's see how he got on." They put the teletext on.

"Result from the Stadium 'Brazil 1 (Ronaldinho 10 minutes) - England 1 (Lampard 89 minutes)."

They can't believe it; he has single-handedly got a draw against England!! They rush back to the Stadium to congratulate Ronaldinho. They find him inthe dressing room, still in his gear, sitting with his head in his hands.

He refuses to look at them. "I've let you down, I've let you down."

"Don't be daft, you got a draw against England, all by yourself. And theyonly scored at the very, very end!"

"No, no, I have, I've let you down. I got sent off after 12 minutes."



well actually i do hope that england would will, though brazil is certainly a more likely candidate... can't wait till next sunday:D

started srp yesterday... spent like 70% of my day undergoing ttrainings and briefing and settling other admin stuff... and the rest of the time i didnt have much stuff to do, since my mentor was discussing with another student...

today i started work proper... made some stupid/careless mistakes but on the whole it was still alright... also went nus to collect my libbrary card... they dun have any expiry date/anything abt the card expiring written on the card/ on their information booklets/websites/anywhere else... so i'm assumming that its like a lifetime membership or smthing likedat:D well it'll better be... otherwise i'll barely have time to use it! hols are gone... when sch reopens after cts we might as well start our engines and get ready for promos... nov and dec hols are also gone... next year will be a lvls... lol... really gotta find time eh....?

gp test today... plain horrid.... halfway through my essay and i realised that my essay was ultra short and had no points... reading though the compre only to realise that i've never heard of wat ever the passage is trying to talk abt until... like today... looking and the qns and realise that u cant even understand the 1st qn.
